Researchers at Liverpool John Moores University are asking people to take part in a short online survey about artificial intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT, and how it may affect the way people look for health information before seeing their GP.

Have Your Say on the Future of Adult Social Care

The Government’s independent Casey Commission on Adult Social Care wants to hear from people across England about how care and support services should work in the future. Through a nationwide engagement programme called The Big Conversation, you can share your experiences and views to help shape future reforms. The Commission is looking at how the current social care system works and what needs to change to better support people in the years ahead.

Survey: Help Shape Future SEND Services in Wirral

The Annual SEND Survey 2026 is giving parents, carers, children and young people in Wirral the chance to share their experiences of SEND services and help shape future improvements. There are two surveys — one for parents and carers, and one for children and young people with SEND — and both have been developed with families and young people to reflect real experiences. The survey is open for 12 weeks and closes on 20 July 2026.

Arrowe Park Hospital: New parking changes explained

Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) is introducing a new parking system at Arrowe Park Hospital, with similar changes also planned for Clatterbridge Hospital.

From 1 July 2026, the Trust will begin rolling out an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, replacing the current barrier-based parking system.

Poster for NHS 111 during doctor strikes

Use NHS 111 during doctor strikes in Cheshire and Merseyside

Health leaders across Cheshire and Merseyside are asking people to plan ahead and use NHS services appropriately, as industrial action by resident doctors coincides with rising temperatures and major public events.

The strikes are set to take place from Monday 15 June to Friday 19 June 2026, which may result in fewer doctors being available and some disruption to services. During this period, NHS teams will prioritise life-saving care.
