Values and Impact
Values and Impact
The principles that guide our work and the difference we have made across Wirral.
Our Values
1
Inclusive
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to be heard. We actively seek out different experiences, particularly from people and communities whose voices might otherwise be overlooked.

2
Influential
We turn people’s experiences and opinions about services into clear evidence, and we use it to encourage better decisions, better services and better outcomes.

3
Independent
We speak openly and impartially. The areas of work we focus on, our findings and our recommendations are shaped by what local people tell us, not by the organisations responsible for providing services.

4
Credible
We gather and present evidence carefully, accurately and responsibly. We explain what we have heard as clearly and simply as possible, and we are transparent about how we reach our conclusions.

5
Collaborative
We work alongside residents, volunteers, community organisations and health and care partners to understand issues and support improvements. Through the Healthwatch Collaborative, we share insights and work with the other eight local Healthwatch across Cheshire and Merseyside.
