We are your independent local champion for health and care services in Wirral.
Who we are
Healthwatch Wirral is your local health and social care champion. Across Wirral, we make sure NHS leaders and other decision-makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care.
How we work

Our Enter and View power allows representatives to visit publicly funded health and care services and recommend improvements.

We help people navigate the NHS complaints process with our independent NHS complaints advocacy service.

We are independent and focused on local people
Healthwatch Wirral is independent of the NHS, Wirral Council and local health and care providers. We are a statutory organisation, funded from central government via Wirral Council to deliver the local Healthwatch service. The experiences we gather, the evidence we publish and the recommendations we make are fully independent.
We are impartial, and information shared with us is treated confidentially. This allows you to speak openly about your experiences.
