Healthwatch Wirral is inviting Carers who support a person with mental health needs to join a special online BRIDGE Forum at the end of June. This focused session is a chance to connect with others, talk openly about challenges, and help shape better support for Carers across Wirral.

Healthwatch Wirral will be attending the Commitment to Carers Conference on Monday 8 June at Eureka in Wallasey. Organised by Wirral Carers Alliance, this free event brings together carers, local services, and community organisations to share support, information, and ideas around building carer-friendly communities.

On 6th May, Healthwatch Wirral, in collaboration with Peter Edwards Law, had the pleasure of hosting a free information event around Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs). It was an opportunity for people to understand more about what LPAs are, why they are important, how to set one up, and explore any other questions they had. Many people only learn about LPAs at a point of crisis, so our aim was to provide clear guidance before people reach that stage.
