In this session:
- Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance shared their 123 Approach, which helps staff identify and tackle health inequalities through training, practical guidance, and support networks.
- The University of Bristol presented evidence on the importance of Meals on Wheels services in supporting nutrition, independence, wellbeing, and reducing pressure on health and care services.#
- Dentaid showcased their new work in Wirral which delivers mobile dental services and oral health support to people experiencing barriers to accessing dental care. You can find a timetable of their events and services in the BRIDGE Forum notes below.
- Standguide group for Wirral shared their support for individuals with mental health conditions to get back into work with their Individual Placement and Support (IPS) programme.
- The NHS Living Well Service gave an update on their service moving forwards, including community-based vaccinations, cervical screening, health checks, and smoking cessation support.
- Healthwatch Wirral gave a presentation sharing updates and key highlights from their Annual Report for 2025/26. They showcased their work around public engagement, research projects, volunteer contributions, and support provided to local residents.
