We Are Undefeatable Campaign

Jun 22, 2020 | News

“We Are Undefeatable” is here on Wirral and is a movement supporting people with a range of long term health conditions. Their purpose is to support and encourage finding ways to be active that work with each person’s conditions, not against them. Being Undefeatable is understanding that how you feel can change from day-to-day, that everybody’s situation is unique, and that moving more when you can is just as important as accepting when you can’t. Every achievement, no matter how small it might seem to someone else, is worth celebrating.

Who is the campaign for?

The campaign brings together partners who reach people living with: Arthritis, some long-term limiting mobility conditions, Alzheimer’s, Asthma, Back pain, Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease/Lung Condition, Dementia, Heart Disease, Stroke, hypertension (or other heart related condition), Long-term depression or anxiety, MS, Parkinson’s, Type 1 Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes. Wirral currently have ‘live’ workouts on Facebook and there are some really ‘low level’ classes that people with long-term health conditions can still benefit from e.g. Breathe Easy, Chair-Based Exercise, Yoga, Pilates. After the live class the session is saved to their YouTube channel for future access. You can Follow on various social platforms:

If you, or someone you know, has a long-term health condition and wants to know more about the campaign or would like to volunteer for the project please contact Sonia Carty:
