Update from The Wirral Advocacy Hub during Covid19

Feb 11, 2021 | Look After Yourself, News

The Wirral Advocacy Hub provides General Advocacy, Independent Mental Health Advocacy , Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (including DoLS and RPR) , Care Act Advocacy and a Single Point of Contact. The Single Point of Contact has been designed to respond and deal with all local Advocacy enquires regardless of which type of advocacy the query is in relation to including changes in legislation around Covid19, Vaccines and Hospital Discharges.

We have a dedicated team of  duty advocates available during office hours to talk through and guide your advocacy query aiming to support professionals to uphold their duty to refer into statutory advocacy and provide easy access for people who use services.

At n-compass, within the Wirral Hub, we have a highly experienced and qualified team of advocates, dedicated to delivering empowering and strength based support which values the skills, knowledge, and potential in Wirral residents. We have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic and working with professionals on common issues around Covid19.  The support we provide varies and is tailored to the individual as well as professionals, from providing Information, guidance and self-help tools, and virtual based single sessions of support to extended Advocacy support.

If you are unsure whether advocacy can help, or you are a professional who is unsure of your duty to refer for a statutory advocate, please give us a call  on our local rate phone number 0300 200 0083 or visit the website for alternative access routes: including online chat with a duty advocate.
