Mental Health Awareness Week is being held Monday 9 May – Sunday 15 May in 2022. The theme for this year is loneliness.
If you or someone you know needs support with your mental health it’s important to reach out – you are not alone and there are many ways to access mental health support on the Wirral. The video and graphic below have some examples of the support available through the NHS:
You can also access mental health support online through Kooth for children and young people and Qwell for adults. Qwell have put together a guide on managing loneliness to tie in with the theme of Mental Health Awareness Week 2022: MHAW Qwell Digital Brochure – Managing Loneliness
Don’t forget to check out the Wirral Infobank for more support services, including local charities, voluntary groups, and social activities. This is also a great resource to help find support for someone you know – #Spare5 to signpost someone this Mental Health Awareness Week.
