Have your say on Wirral Council’s Budget 2022-23

Nov 9, 2021 | News, Newsletter

Consultation is now open on Wirral Council’s budget for the next financial year. The consultation aims to establish the services and work that residents want to see prioritised as the council prepares to set the budget for 2022-23.

Wirral Council wants to hear from you about your priorities for council services, to help shape the budget for the next financial year.

The authority faces a potential budget gap of around £30m, under the latest cautious forecast, between funding (from council tax, fees and grants) and the cost of providing services at the current level.

You can read more about the budget and share your views on the Council website, through both a questionnaire and an Ideas Board: https://haveyoursay.wirral.gov.uk/council-budget-2022-23

An Easy Read version of the questionnaire is available on this page also.
