Do you know what COVID-19 test to take and when?

Jul 12, 2021 | Look After Yourself, News, Newsletter

There is so much information available about testing that sometimes it can feel like information overload so Wirral Council created a handy flowchart for you to use to help guide you through the testing process.

The best place to start is by asking:

Make sure you and your household know how to test yourself properly if you are using the symptom-free home testing kits and always have a kit at home so you can continue to test yourself twice a week.

You can collect FREE testing kits for use at home from:
Local testing centres
Mobile testing vehicles
Most pharmacies in Wirral
Some council buildings including leisure centres and libraries
Order online

For an up-to-date list of locations visit: www.wirral.gov.uk/mobiletesting

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 as detailed in the chart you must self-isolate and book a symptoms-only test at one of our testing centres in
Birkenhead, Bebington, Liscard and Heswall or you can order online or call 119 for a home test kit to be delivered to your home.
If you do test positive for COVID-19 support is available to help you isolate. Visit: www.wirral.gov.uk/isolationguide
