Are you wanting to find calm after COVID? If you work or volunteer in the NHS or have been a COVID-19 patient and you live in the Cheshire/Wirral area, this free workshop may be for you!
The British public hold the NHS in high regard but never has the importance of the NHS been so vital as during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our NHS staff and volunteers have been at the frontline fighting this invisible enemy often putting their own safety at risk. This life saving role was recognised by so many, especially Captain Sir Tom Moore.
Through Captain Sir Tom’s fundraising, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership have secured funding to provide support and training to NHS staff, volunteers and patients to help them to “Create Calm after Covid.”
Be Well Community Learning CIC are privileged to have been asked to deliver training that gives participants the opportunity to learn about resilience and the affect stress and anxiety has on our wellbeing.
This 3 hour free training will include a series of exercises and activities. Participants will increase their understanding of what resilience is, recognise barriers to staying well and work on small life changes that can have a big impact. There will be the time and opportunity to reflect on their own stress container and to look at a range of strategies to improve their wellbeing, including mindfulness techniques.
The workshop will be delivered online on the following dates:
- Friday 30th July, 10am-1pm
- Thursday 12th August, 10am-1pm
- Tuesday 14th September, 10am-1pm
