Active Wirral are inviting people to have their say on what it means to be active in Wirral. This will help them to shape the council’s leisure services in the future and they would like your help to engage with young people around the borough.
Active Wirral are keen to hear from individuals, as well as organisations and groups that work with young people in Wirral – such as schools, youth groups, supported living – so that they can make sure they are providing a service that young people need.
They want to know what services and activities people would like to see available across the borough and how they like to be active – be it walking, going on a bike ride, gardening, or taking part in sports. They will also ask if there is anything that stops people from being active so that they can provide support where needed.
Young people can have their say by visiting the council’s Have Your Say website. Here they can read more about what Active Wirral are trying to achieve and take part by filling in the survey or submitting an idea to the ideas board. Alternatively, you can submit a response on behalf of an individual or a group. Registration is required before completing the survey through this website.
The survey is also available as a pdf document if you would prefer to take part using a paper copy. To take part in this way, print off the document, complete the survey and then scan and email them to [email protected].
If you need this survey in another format, need any support collecting this information or would like a Wirral Council Leisure representative to come and speak to a group of young people about their services and to gather questionnaire responses, please contact the team by emailing [email protected].
